First off, the Fury are undead. When turned, their heart stops beating, depriving the rest of their bodies of blood, thus making them 'bloodthirsty'. A human goes through extreme physical and mental pain when bridging the path between human and fury. What is only known as the 'fire' courses through the blood and burns away all excess fats, hardening flesh into what is almost a marble shell. Most internal organs are shut down to lay dormant in the body, nails and hair become unbreakable, teeth sharp but do not change in physical appearance. Stomachs fill with an acid that can eat through anything aside from the fury itself and blood. Flesh becomes extremely pale due to their inability to make their own blood.
Personality does not change, but is added on to. Memories of human-life dulls. Animalistic instincts are also a side-affect. Becomes enraged easily and tempermental. Looks upon humans with superiority. Can easily get attached to artistic things, such as music, drawing, painting, etc.
